ORGANISERBiderbost, Boscán & Rochin (profit-making active body in Corporate Social Responsibility in favor of youth) with the support of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Union.
The project consists of two working weeks with a multilateral exchanges format and the selection of youth initiatives, with the permanent use of ICT in order to generate new knowledge.
The first exchange will take place between the 16 and 21 of June in Salamanca (Spain). The second one will take place between the 29 of September and 4 of October (location to be determined).
First Exchange: This exchange will be focused on how to "act locally with a global mindset". This means that the teachings throughout the exchange are concentrated on obtaining tools for social change participation, which matters not only locally but also globally. Activities are carefully planned, with the support of specialists in different areas, to give essential competences to the participants. The work during this first week will also contribute to stimulate personal development and create initiatives in which social inclusion and active citizenship are key components, in order to conceive an inclusive Europe. Creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership and fraternization will be strengthened in this first stage of the program through classes, and sport activities, cultural and social sessions and meetings with politicians, businessmen, scholars and artists. This week will finish with the selection of the youth initiatives by the organizers of the training course.
Youth Initiatives: There will be a three months break between the first and second exchange. In this time, the youth initiatives will be partially implemented by the young participants in their communities. These initiatives will focus on economic and social inclusion, taking into account ethical values that have been bestowed by the European integration process. Participants will start their initiatives with their own former experience and the tools acquired during the first exchange (i.e., to be celebrated in Salamanca). During this time participants will receive consultancy from BB&R Team, specially created for the purpose of this project.
Second Exchange: The participants will share their youth initiative experiences. They will receive an immediate feedback about their projects by the organizers and experts from BB&R. The main objective of this second working week is to consolidate the different initiatives in order to facilitate, through their implementation, the building of an active, empowered and conscientious new generation of European entrepreneurs, in order to conceive an inclusive Europe.
